Sofia E. Reyes

Sofia E. Reyes brings cultural fluency, bilingual skill, and a genuine understanding of what clients face to every family law and immigration matter she handles. A first-generation American and fluent speaker of English, Spanish, and Tagalog, Sofia is uniquely equipped to serve San Diego's diverse communities.

After graduating from California Western School of Law, Sofia clerked for the Honorable Maria G. Rodriguez in San Diego Family Court — an experience that gave her an unmatched understanding of how judicial officers evaluate evidence, credibility, and custody proposals. She joined LexForge in 2017 and quickly built one of the firm's most active practices.

In family law, Sofia is known for her command of high-conflict custody matters, domestic violence protective orders, and international custody disputes. Her immigration practice covers green card petitions, removal defense, asylum applications, and hardship waivers — areas where the stakes are as high as they get. She has reunited more than 34 separated families and successfully defended removal proceedings for long-term residents.

Sofia's philosophy is simple: every client deserves to understand their options, their rights, and their realistic path forward — in their own language, without condescension. She returns calls personally and builds long-term relationships that often extend to parents, siblings, and adult children of original clients.
